Kennedy Model XV Type 430

A very nice example of a Kennedy Model XV battery set from 1924. The radio works and includes five good 01A tubes and battery wires. The cabinet is original. The finish is worn in some areas. It still displays well, as can be seen in the picture on the right and also on page one of my tube radio collection. One of the dial panel screws is broken but is still in its hole just below the large tuning knob on the right. It does not interfer with removing the panel to gain access to the chassis. Each of the large tuning knobs has a hairline crack. The small knobs next to them are for fine tuning. There are jacks for a loop antenna and for connecting a headphone or speaker to either the detector or output stage 1 or 2. More pictures available upon request. $475 plus shipping.
